BELFAST, Northern Ireland -- A large bet tipped off police in Belfast who tracked down a suspected fraudster, The Guardian reported.

A former post officer manager, suspected of involvement in a recent €1.76m in the Republic of Ireland, placed a €40,000 winning bet on Saturday, the report explained.

The PSNI found Tony O'Reilly, a gambling addict according to his family, via CCTV footage, The Guardian reported.
