Ladbrokes takes a punt on French venture

FRANCE -- Ladbrokes is at the head of the queue to crack the improved French gambling market, The Times reported.
France previously heavily regulated market recently relaxed regulation and introduced internet gambling possibilities, The Times said.
Ladbrokes has entered a joint venture with Canal+ (Leading French TV company)
This isn't the first attempt at a European venture for Ladbrokes, who last year quit Italy when the business failed to thrive, The Times report said.
