IRELAND – As reported by the Sunday Business Post: "Betting chain Ladbrokes plans to open up to 45 bookmaking shops in Ireland over the next two years, according to Joe Lewins, managing director of the company's Irish operation.

"The company is identifying sites around Ireland where it has little presence, with a mixture of greenfield sites and acquisitions planned.
"The expansion will bring the number of shops in the chain to 240 by 2009…"
