Ladbrokes could close Gala merger this week, reports

LONDON, England -- Ladbrokes will close its acquisition of Gala Coral very soon it's being reported by the Sunday Times.

There's speculation that the deal could close as soon as the end of the week, the report said.

Ladbrokes previously attempted to buy Gala Coral in 1998 but the merger was blocked, according to the Sunday Times.
