Kirby becomes three-time MSPT champion

(PRESS RELEASE) -- Before this weekend, Carl Carodenuto was the only three-time champ in MSPT history, which includes more than $82 million in prize money awarded in 143 Main Events. Now, thanks to his victory over a 479-entry field in the latest $1,100 buy-in MSPT Canterbury Park - Racetrack & Card Casino, Minnesota’s Matt Kirby has equaled the feat.

Kirby, who took down both MSPT Northern Lights Casino and MSPT Grand Casino Mille Lacs for $47,070 and $46,970 respectively back in 2012, won $99,573 for his latest victory.
