Keep Memory Alive Poker Tournament

(PRESS RELEASE) -- On Friday, 21 September 2018, Keep Memory Alive invites guests to the inaugural Texas Hold ‘em Charity Poker Tournament hosted by casino legend Jack Binion. Beginning at 5:30 p.m., the event will take place at the stunning Keep Memory Alive Event Center to raise funds and awareness for the patients and caregivers at Cleveland Clinic Lou Ruvo Center for Brain Health.

Not only will guests be able to rub elbows with Jack Binion, but with their $500 buy-in, they’ll have the chance to try their luck at the poker tables, roulette wheel, and silent auction alongside other luminaries, including:

• Doyle “Texas Dolly” Brunson, Poker Hall of Fame inductee, two-time World Series of Poker Main Event Champion, and winner of ten overall bracelets at the WSOP
• Daniel “Kid Poker” Negreanu, Poker Hall of Fame inductee, and six-time WSOP bracelet winner
• Barry Shulman, two-time WSOP bracelet winner, and author
• Jack McClelland, Poker Hall of Fame inductee, and longtime WSOP and World Poker Tour tournament director
• Jon Taffer, entrepreneur and television personality

Open to all players 21 and older from beginner to advanced skill levels, guests will enjoy a fun and relaxing evening. Throughout the event, they’ll be able to sip on spectacular wine and specialty cocktails, indulge in dishes by Clique Hospitality, and enjoy music by Michael Shulman. The first-place winner will walk away with $10,000, but the runners-up won’t leave empty handed as they’ll take home some incredible prizes including exclusive chef dinners, fantastic trips, exquisite jewelry and first-class wine.

Players will pay $500 for the initial buy-in and seat at the table, and for those who don’t wish play, guest tickets are $100. Registration is encouraged by Friday, 14 September. Check-in will begin at 5:30 p.m. the day of the event, with a tutorial at 6 p.m. to allow guest to brush up on their skills.
