JAPAN -- The recent gambling scandal continues to have ramifications for the world of sumo wrestling in Japan, The Independent reported.For the first time in 57 years the sumo wrestling tournament will not be shown live on the public broadcaster, the report said.
This decision is as a result of an outpouring of anger from fans about the recent baseball gambling scandal involving sumo wrestlers and coaches, The Independent reported.
