It wasn't me officer
30 Sep 2010
According to WCVB TV, a Connecticut man was arrested for drunken driving for the fourth time late Wednesday night. Police were called to a house in Webster, MA after a pickup truck hit a house. The driver of the truck, 50-year-old James J. Johnson, was found on the front steps of the house.
WCVB TV says the man "told police his dogs were running around the interior of his truck causing him to lose control of the vehicle. Johnson also claimed, according to police, that his brother was driving the truck, even though police found Johnson was alone in the vehicle." He was arrested for drunk driving and destruction of property.
The Reel Life doesn't condone Johnson's actions, but we have to admire his resolve to go with the "it wasn't me" defense and a variation of the "dog ate my homework" defense.
