Iowa Governor signs gambling bill into law

DES MOINES, Iowa -- Iowa Gov. Terry Branstad signed new online gambling legislation into law yesterday, according to the Quad-City Times.The bill will permit gamblers to bet on horses over the phone and by computer, the report explained.
There is also a provision in the legislation to examine establishing other forms of online gambling, such as online poker, Quad-City Times report said.
