IOC wants a cut of betting revenues for sports bodies

SWITZERLAND -- The IOC has called for sports bodies to receive money from betting revenues, Reuters reported.The call came as the IOC held meetings with international government ministers to discuss combating illegal gambling, Reuters said.
The IOC is seeking to establish links with countries to encourage them to license all betting operators and take a pro-active approach to illegal gambling and money laundering, the Reuters report said.
