IGT Forms Asian Division

RENO, Nevada – (PRESS RELEASE) -- International Game Technology (NYSE: IGT) has announced the formation of a new company division to service the Asian gaming markets.

The new division, IGT-Asia, will be located in Macau and will be headed by Managing Director Scott Winzeler, formerly IGT's Director of International Markets.

"Asia, and specifically Macau, is rapidly becoming one of the most important gaming markets in the world," said Paulus Karskens, President of IGT's International division. "It is crucial that IGT have a local sales and support presence in that market. Scott's solid background in international management -- specifically in Japan -- will serve us and our customers well."
