IGT Appoints VP of Human Resources
RENO, Nevada – (PRESS RELEASE) -- Tami Corbin has been appointed Vice President of Human Resources for IGT (NYSE: IGT), the Nevada-based gaming machine manufacturer. Corbin will direct all employee-related benefits and programs for IGT's 4,800-member worldwide workforce.
She comes to IGT from the ABC Television Network, a subsidiary of The Walt Disney Company, where she served as Vice President, Human Resources, Media Networks. She worked for The Walt Disney Company in various positions from 1996 to 2004 including Director, Human Resources, Disney Cable Networks and Director, Employee Relations and Training, Disney Consumer Products.
Corbin has also served as Director of Human Resources for the Palace Station Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, and in several human resources capacities with Marriott International including Director of Human Resources for Dodger Stadium.
She earned a Master of Science degree in Experimental Psychology from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Clemson University in South Carolina. She holds a certificate from the Executive Master of Business Program at Simmons College in Boston, and is a member of the Society of Human Resource Management.
