iGaming North America to hold closed-door session on regulation

(PRESS RELEASE) -- A closed session "Balancing the Needs of Consumers, Governments and Licensed Operators in a Regulated Framework" for Government Regulators, Lottery Officials and Public Policy Makers will be taking place at the iGaming North America conference on the 14th April 2015 at 9.30am.

The optimal goals of iGaming regulation are to protect consumers and generate valuable tax revenues and jobs. But a vibrant industry can be compromised by unnecessarily burdensome regulations that clash with commercial interests.

A 12-year veteran of the industry will offer specific examples of what he describes as the ‘good’, the ‘bad’ and the ‘ugly’ in terms of regulated frameworks. This interactive session will offer government representatives the chance to explore real world scenarios and determine how best to build a system that achieves the core objectives of all stakeholders.
