VICTORIA, British Columbia -- ID readers will be installed at BC casinos shortly, CTV reported.

The ID readers are being introduced to counter the problem of minors gaining entry to casinos, the report explained.

The BC Lottery Corporation has responded with this ID reader plan, after a recent undercover news investigation showed minors could gain entry to casinos with relative ease, CTV reported.
