Hungarian wins PKR Live IV

LONDON, England -- (PRESS RELEASE) -- 21 year old Hungarian Gábor 'Gab1988' Vasvenszki battled it out against 150 players over two days to scoop $20,000 and winner's trophy at PKR Live IV Main Event at London's Loose Cannon Club this weekend.

Enduring over 22 hours of intense poker, Gábor fought off the Italian hopeful Jackson 'DonnieJackMala' Genopesi and finally the UK's Jamie 'JJBird22' Birdsey before taking the throne of PKR Champion. Gábor, who has been on a roll recently with wins in both the Sunday Classic and a WSOP Experience package, commented "It's a special moment for me."

The main event was recorded on the first PKR Live televised feature table, which used infra-red cameras to film the game while reading the cards from above with state of the art Perlego technology.

As well as for the Main Event, PKR players came together from across Europe for a community led weekend which consisted of a Friday welcome party with fun sit and go tournaments and a $150 shoot-out side event which saw Spaniard Alejandro 'Jandro11' Gonzalez-Olaechea Fernandez-Mantilla walk away with $5,000 for his victory.
