Hollywood stars join Poker2Nite on Wednesday
21 Apr 2010
A highly entertaining Kevin Pollak and Samm Levine keep company with Huff in studio. Hollywood hotshots Pollak and Levine, best known for their celebrated roles in award-winning films Usual Suspects, Casino and Inglourious Basterds, most recently joined forces as on-air hosts of Kevin Pollak's Chat Show, streaming LIVE online on Sundays. The acting duo talk candidly with Huff about their web talk show collaboration, what and who's happening in Hollywood home games right now, plus just who has the edge in 'Christopher Walken' impressions.
Pollak 'lost' the coin toss and is on the spot and "On the Clock" this week in the regular Poker2Nite segment. Can the stand-up comedian break the season-long domination of this 60-second Q & A challenge by Absolute Poker's poker playing bombshell, Trishelle Cannatella? Tune in to Versus on Wednesday night to be amongst the first to find out.
Catch Huff dole out the best of the week's news that made headlines in the world of Hold 'em. Justin " ZeeJustin" Bonomo and Isaac "The Lizard King" Haxton chat about what went down at the prestigious Les A in Mayfair, London during the filming of the PartyPoker Big Game IV. Isildur1 may have been M.I.A., but the event still generated some big winners and losers in Ol' Blighty, and Bonomo and Haxton have the scoop.
Other hot topics on Huff's agenda include the controversial public vote for the Tournament of Champions line-up so far, results of the EPT San Remo event, and an update on the WPT Championship $25K buy-in tourney in Las Vegas.
Poker2Nite also goes on the red carpet with Dave Farra for all the fun, fur, and glamour of the 4th Annual Jennifer Harman Nevada SPCA Charity Poker event raising funds for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals. It's a media and fan favorite that attracted animal lovers Holly Madison, Robert Iler (AJ from the Sopranos), MMA fighters Tyson Griffin and Roy Nelson, as well as poker Pros Doyle Brunson, Howard Lederer, Marco Traniello and event organizer Harman.
Last, but definitely not least, Dana Workman deals out the best of the reader "Mailbag" questions, answered this time by Tiffany Michelle, Doyle Brunson, and Andy Bloch. Dana dishes the latest Internet buzz, while previewing two new poker reality pilots, one starring the 2009 WSOP Champ Joe Cada, and the other featuring Matt "AD2124" Marafioti.
Poker2Nite viewers in the U.S. can catch the latest episode each Wednesday at 11pm EDT on Versus. Fans of the show outside of the U.S. can catch Poker2Nite on SportsNet in Canada and The Poker Channel in Europe. Viewers should consult their local listings for exact airtimes.
