Harrah's recognized by Asian Enterprise Magazine

LAS VEGAS, Nevada -- (PRESS RELEASE) -- Asian Enterprise Magazine recognized Harrah's Entertainment, Inc. as one of the top US corporations for Asian Pacific Americans. Fred Keeton, chief diversity officer for Harrah's, was presented with the 2008 Advocate of the Year Award for Small Business Advocate.

During the 15th National Asian Entrepreneur Award Ceremony, Keeton was one of the six recipients who received an Advocate Award for making an impact in the Asian Pacific American community. The award was in the category of Small Business Advocate.

"It is such an honor to be named Small Business Advocate and we have enjoyed our long-standing relationship with Asian Enterprise Magazine," said Fred Keeton vice president external affairs and chief diversity officer. The Asian Enterprise Magazine ceremony celebrated and honored the achievements of individual advocates and Fortune 500's best companies with regards to Asian Pacific Americans. Awards categories included: Public Servant Advocate, CEO Advocate, Special Advocate, Corporate Advocate and Small Business Advocate. Top US Fortune 500's Best Companies for Asian Pacific Americans included: Chrysler, Comerica, Denny's Inc, Harrah's Entertainment, IBM Kaiser Permanente, McDonald's Corporation, Morgan Stanley, PepsiCo, Sodexho, The Coca Cola Company, Wal-Mart, Xerox and Hong-Kong Shanghai Bank Corporation (HSBC).
