Harrah's Opens Employee Health and Wellness Center

LAS VEGAS, Nevada -- (PRESS RELEASE) -- Furthering its commitment to the health and well-being of its employees, Harrah's Entertainment, Inc. (NYSE:HET) today opened a Health and Wellness Center for more than 30,000 Las Vegas employees and their families.

The 19,000-square-foot center, located at 4100 W. Flamingo Road and operated by Whole Health Management, Inc., includes a 7,000-square-foot medical clinic and 12,000-square-foot fitness center.

Whole Health Management, a leading operator of corporate health and wellness centers, staffs and operates the medical clinic, providing primary care services including vaccinations and treatment of health problems, such as infections and minor injuries. Clinical staff can also diagnose and treat chronic conditions, such as diabetes and high blood pressure, and provide prescription medication. Other services offered include health education, nutrition counseling and physical therapy. Whole Health manages similar facilities for Harrah's employees in Atlantic City, Tunica, New Orleans and Lake Tahoe.

Medical clinic services are available for all employees who participate in the Harrah's health insurance plan, as well as company-insured spouses and dependents as young as two. The fitness center is available for employees of Bally's Las Vegas, Caesars Palace, Flamingo, Harrah's Las Vegas, Paris, Rio, and Harrah's Entertainment Las Vegas Corporate Headquarters, regardless of their participation in the company's health insurance program.

Two board-certified physicians, a group of nurse practitioners, registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, medical assistants and physical therapists, fitness director and fitness specialists will staff the Health and Wellness Center. The Health and Wellness Center is open six days a week.
