Harrah's exec wins award
LAS VEGAS, Nevada -- (PRESS RELEASE) -- Harrah's Entertainment, Inc. (NYSE: HET) announces that Tim Stanley has been named Information Week's Chief of the Year. Stanley is awarded this honor for his role as Harrah's CIO & Senior Vice President of Innovation, Gaming, and Technology. In this capacity Stanley is the leader of the company's enterprise information technology, gaming, and innovation functions and serves as the visionary behind the company's innovation efforts across the globe.
The magazine also ranked Harrah's #40 on their list, Information Week 500. This list is comprised of the nation's most innovative companies and documents business-technology strategies, investments and practices of information technology.
