BLACKPOOL, UK – As reported by the BBC News: "A representative of one of the world's largest gaming companies is visiting Blackpool on Friday for talks about developing a super casino.

"Harrah's Entertainment Inc, which runs the Caesar's Palace casinos, is one of 20 firms interested in creating a Las Vegas-style attraction at the resort.

"Blackpool Council is one of 27 local authorities bidding to build the UK's only large regional casino.

"…Harrah's is interested in developing the casino and has identified Blackpool as a potential development project as it looks to move into the European market.

"Andrew Tottenham, the company's managing director of European development, will visit the gaming academy at Blackpool and Fylde College during his visit…"
