Harrah's Exec Receives 'Spirit of Democracy' Award

LAS VEGAS -- (PRESS RELEASE) -- Fred Keeton, vice president of external affairs and chief diversity officer of Harrah's Entertainment, Inc. (NYSE:HET) received the "Spirit of Democracy" Award from the National Coalition on Black Civic Participation on May 5 in Washington, D.C.

The annual awards recognize individuals who exhibit extraordinary leadership in the areas of civic engagement and public service. Keeton received the Corporate Leadership Award for his leadership on issues of corporate responsibility and philanthropy, and his commitment to corporate diversity.
