Guilty plea entered in web gambling case

NEW YORK -- A Canadian entered a guilty plea to an Internet gambling scheme in a Manhattan court yesterday, according to Reuters.Douglas Rennick was charged with using wires to transmit bets and wagering information, the report said.
Rennick is accused of transferring money from a bank account in Cypress to US bank accounts to pay gamblers their winnings, the Reuters report said.
