GUERNSEY -- Guernsey is responding to online gambling addiction by offering Islanders a new counselling service, the BBC reported.

The Guernsey Alcohol & Drug Abuse Council offers its services free, the report said.

The new counselling service is in response to an increase in client numbers, concurrent with the advent of global online gambling, the BBC noted.
