LONDON, England -- (PRESS RELEASE) -- The only interactive gaming software and services provider that can supply everything from lottery and bingo to poker, sports betting, casino and instant games, GTECH G2 is nominated in seven categories at this week's EGR B2B Awards in London. The igaming division of lottery industry giant GTECH combines the technical and creative talents of Boss Media, St Minver, Finsoft and Dynamite Idea and is nominated in categories reflecting the diversity of its product portfolio: Innovation in RNG Casino Software, Innovation in Sports Betting Software, Poker Network of the Year, Poker Software Supplier of the Year, Sports Betting Supplier of the year, White Label Partner of the Year and Lottery Software Provider of the Year.
GTECH G2's new WARP sports betting software, a component-based system for content management and delivery, earned the nomination for Innovation in Sports Betting Software. Complementing its MarginMaker sports betting solution, which supports fixed odds, pools and spread betting on any sport, across all channels, the new WARP system enables rapid development, facilitating real-time changes to existing features, as well as the quick and easy addition of new site features.
"To differentiate their product from competitors, our customers were looking for a flexible way of changing the look and feel of their sites themselves," said Paul Mears, Director of Sports Betting at GTECH G2. "BetFred and BoyleSports, which both went live with MarginMaker and WARP last year, report increased site response times and an up to 50% reduction in their web hardware infrastructure overhead."
GTECH G2 is unique among its competitors in that it supplies lottery as well as igaming software and systems. Its core player platform, which enables a single customer account and view and provides ultimate player insight, management and analysis, raises the bar for other lottery suppliers.
"Some lotteries are restricted to tightly governed operation of lottery specific products like draw games and instant tickets only whilst others, as the only regulated operator of state gaming, have greater powers to run full gaming portfolios within more commercial frameworks," said Nigel Beaney, CFO and VP Business Integration and WLA Sales at GTECH G2. "Flexibility is at the heart of the GTECH G2 solution, developed from over 25 years of working in partnership with state operators across the globe."
Player management is critical to lottery customers and GTECH G2's Core Player Platform with its many embedded features such as identification and verification, CRM and data analytics, payments and reporting provides a single view of every player that enables operators to configure player management features to suit their individual circumstances.
EGR B2B Award winners will be announced at a gala ceremony tonight.
