Gov. Cuomo calls on NYRA to intervene in horse fatalities

NEW YORK -- The governor of New York has written to the NYRA expressing his concern over the number of horse fatalities during Aqueduct races this year, The New York Post reported.The governor wants Aqueduct to hire an Independent investigator to excavate what caused the 15 fatalities and implement safety and prevention measures, the report said.
