Golden Nugget offers big summer attractions for 2018

(PRESS RELEASE) -- To celebrate the end of one of the longest winters on record, Golden Nugget - Atlantic City today announced its highly anticipated summer attraction lineup. The event list includes the opening dates for the infamous Deck Bayfront Bar & Restaurant, H2O Pool Bar & Grill, and the details for Atlantic City’s mainstay summer festivals British Invasion, Fakefest, Deckstock, and International Winefest.

The season of sun kicks off on 18 May with the opening of the longest-running outdoor casino hangout spot, The Deck. On 18 May, guests are invited to shake off winter and set the tone for the season with cocktails, outdoor blackjack tables, and live music from The Way Outs Band. On 14 June, the Deck opens daily, and the live entertainment continues with daily theme nights each week.

Upcoming summer concerts and events on The Deck include:

• On 16 June, British Invasion, a party honoring the sounds of The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, and The Who, once again comes to the Shore, bringing with it traditional British fare for true authenticity.
• Then, 12-15 July marks Fakefest, a weekend of legendary tribute bands known for nostalgia and paying homage to musical greats like The Eagles, Bruce Springsteen, Van Halen, Chicago, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Tom Petty, The Police, Led Zeppelin, and Bon Jovi.
• On 11 August, Deckstock takes Atlantic City back to the 60’s to relive the music that changed the future of popular culture and rock and roll.

For those looking to cool down, the Golden Nugget’s award-winning H2O Pool Bar & Grill offers one of the most exclusive settings for passing the time in private party cabanas, plush daybeds, and the rooftop pool. Guests are invited to visit the luxurious pool area overlooking the marina and play outside with live blackjack tables while taking advantage of the hot tubs and fire pits. H2O’s bar will open daily beginning 1 May. Industry Tuesdays will once again occur with party goers having access to a private section of H2O, drink and bottle specials, and a live DJ beginning 22 May. Complimentary admission with an industry ID is from 2 p.m.-4 p.m.

The hotel and casino toasts to the end of the summer season with its International Winefest on 24-25 August, as guests are invited to sip on more than 100 varieties of wine from 10 of the world’s most prestigious wine producing countries while munching on a chef’s display of hors d'oeuvres.
