GGE partnering with Party Poker

LONDON, England -- (PRESS RELEASE) -- Global Gaming Events (GGE) is ringing in the New Year with an amazing set of tournaments. Party Poker has partnered with GGE and will host the first set of Online Forum Challenge Events of 2012. In addition to $2,500 in cash that will be given away, poker players will have the opportunity to win their way in to Party Poker’s $200k Guaranteed Sunday Tournament.

The first OFC Event is a $500 Freeroll, taking place on Saturday, January 14th, 2012 at 3pm EST / 20:00 GMT. In addition to the $500 player prize pool, $250 in prizes will be awarded to the best performing communities.

The second tournament takes place the following day on Sunday, January 15th, 2012 at 3pm EST / 20:00 GMT. This $5 + $0.50 tournament features $2,000 Cash ADDED to the buy-ins, and the top 5 players will also receive a $215 Entry to Party Poker’s $200k Guaranteed Sunday Tournament. As if that was not enough of an incentive to play, all players that have made a deposit or reload within 30 days of the OFC Buy-in, that also play in the OFC Buy-in, will receive a rebate of their $5 buy-in!
