German wins first PKR Social London title

LONDON, England -- (PRESS RELEASE) -- It was a German one-two at the inaugural PKR Social London as INFRALSCHALL beat off his countryman and PKR staff member Marc Reiner to claim a $2,721 payday after winning Saturday’s Deep Stack Social London Main Event.

Held at the Fox Poker Club in the heart of London’s West End, more than 100 poker fans, PKR staff and Team PKR Pros came together for an unforgettable 48 hours of poker. The weekend began with the popular Sit & Go Madness party, a happy marriage of free drinks and strange varieties of poker including Doubles Team events, three-card Hold’em and Hand of Each. During the night, eight of PKR's staff took to the felt for an unusual series of heads-up Sit & Go’s with the losers having to spend the entirety of Saturday's tournament dressed as life-sized Teletubbies.

Saturday brought the 108-runner deep stacked tournament, featuring players from around the UK, Germany, Italy and Holland. Two Team PKR Pros were in the mix, james666 (in a sumo suit after defeat by Ashley Hames in a heads-up Sit & Go) and PKR_Scott, plus 12 members of PKR staff.

James666 reached a classy final table featuring two PKR Masters champions - INFRASCHALL and ForFoxSake, plus, PKR_Marc and PKR_Jake, NEBBI, flynndig, howezy, forsure and US04ALE completed the final ten. However after 12 hours of play it came down to the battle of the two German players with INFRASCHALL’s aggressive style reigning triumphant.
