Georgia crackdown on online gambling

GEORGIA -- A call by Governor Nathan Deal for a crackdown on gambling sites skirting the local law has resulted in a raid, the Covington News reported.The sites, allegedly, were being operated out of internet based cafes in a business centre, punters would pay for computer time and play slots on computers and win items like small household prizes, the report said.
Gambling is illegal in Georgia, Covington News report noted.
