Friedman wins MSPT Jack Cleveland
12 Aug 2019
(PRESS RELEASE) -- In January 2018, the MSPT visited Jack Cleveland Casino for the first time. In that $1,100 tournament, poker pro Adam Friedman finished third for $52,976. On the second visit to the property this past January, he once again placed third, that time for $63,2983.Well, the third time was the charm as this weekend the three-time World Series of Poker gold bracelet winner topped a 596-entry field to win the MSPT Jack Cleveland for $121,405.
The win brought his live tournament earnings up over $3 million, not too shabby considering the fact he’s primarily a mixed-game cash player. It was also the continuation of a great year for Friedman, who less than two months ago won the 2019 WSOP Event #35: $10,000 Dealers Choice Championship 6-Handed for $312,417 and his third bracelet.
