Franzen named new IT Director of Svenska Spel

(PRESS RELEASE) -- Mikael Franzén was appointed IT Director at Svenska Spel. He will be part of Group Management and report directly to the CEO. Mikael Franzen is currently responsible for the B2B business in the subsidiary Swedish Games Sports & Casino where he is also part of the management team. He will assume his new position on 1 September 2019.

Mikael Franzén has been responsible for B2B Pool Games Sports subsidiary Swedish Games Sports & Casino and member of the team since the fall of 2018. His career in the gaming industry started in 1993 on the then Penninglotteriet and he has held various roles within the Swedish game, including IT -utvecklingschef and head of online operations. He has in the meantime also been part of group management in about ten years. Mikael Franzen also has extensive experience as a consultant in the gaming industry with the mission of a number of gaming companies.
