(PRESS RELEASE) -- Guests can score a touchdown at Boyd Gaming properties this football season with a variety of ways to catch every minute of the action. Throughout southern Nevada, Boyd Gaming guests can participate in Las Vegas’ favorite free football contest Pick the Pros, enjoy an array of football-inspired food and beverage specials, and check out game-day viewing parties, complete with giveaways and more.

Pick the Pros: Repeatedly recognized as the “Best Football Contest” in the Las Vegas Review Journal’s “Best of Las Vegas” competition, Pick the Pros returns for its 11th season on Tuesday, 28 August.

Each week during the professional football season, Boyd Gaming will award a guaranteed $30,000 cash prize pool to the week’s top performers. To participate, players can pick a slate of winners straight-up without regard to the week’s point spread. Pick the Pros is completely free; players simply need a B Connected card to participate. B Connected members who are Ruby or Sapphire customers will receive one free pick per week. Emerald members and above will receive two free picks weekly. “Just Add Ice” Promotion: On Thursday, 6 September, Players Club members who earn 40 tier credits playing slots or table games at The Orleans, Gold Coast, Suncoast, Sam’s Town or Aliante, or 200 spendable points playing slots at Cannery Casino and Hotel or Eastside Cannery Casino & Hotel, will be eligible to swipe at a kiosk to receive “Just Add Ice” gifts, including a professional football-themed beer bucket and six 12-oz. “Football Frenzy” Kiosk Game: From Sunday, 2 September through the end of December, Players Card members at Cannery can win up to $500 in cash playing the “Football Frenzy” Kiosk Game. Players who earn 50 same-day base points will receive one pick per week. Picks must be made on the same day the points were earned. High Flyer and First Class members will receive one free bonus pick each week. The first to guess all the games correctly and come closest to the score of Monday night’s football game will win $500 cash.
