Flotation values Betfair at $2.2bn

LONDON, England -- Betfair has been valued at $.2bn in its recent share floatation, the BBC reported.

15.2 percent of company shares were sold at £13 per share, the BBC said.

Shares then rose 20 percent during early trading to £15.60, the report added.
