Fire & Ice hailed as huge success
LONDON, England -- (PRESS RELEASE) -- Lyceum Media's annual Fire & Ice party was again a highlight of January's annual industry gathering London. iGaming executives, operators, affiliates and suppliers knew they were in for something sensational as they were welcomed to London's trendy Camden Town by the massive Fire & Ice icon cheekily projected on the Camden Lock Bridge. The party really didn't get started until they passed Babylonian fire jugglers and received a personal welcome from pro belly dancer Solariss and her albino Python Sheba. But the real stars of the party were the event sponsors and the 1,500 guests that made the iGaming industry's largest annual social gathering a roaring success.
Event Producers and Lyceum Media Directors Jodie Thind and Michael Caselli thank all the sponsors – AsianLogic, CryptoLogic, Asian Poker Tour, Cake Poker Network, Boss Media, Bluff Europe and Lyceum Media for making Fire & Ice 2009 a night to remember.
Hosted at the uber-fashionable Gilgamesh, Fire & Ice's unique talent line up included the award winning human beatboxer The PeteBox, professional belly dancers with their exotic props, themed stilt walkers, henna tattoo artists, fire performers and the industry's own SEO guru and DJ talent Bob Rains. Partiers were given a CD with samples from The PeteBox and Bob Rains to help them re-live the night.
Quotes About Fire & Ice 2009:
Jeff Mann, Marketing Director, AsianLogic and headline sponsor: "To say that our guests really enjoyed themselves would be an understatement. Put simply it was a great party and I am sure the industry will be talking about it for months to come. My only worry now is how the talented team at Lyceum can organize an even better event next year!"
Loyal Lyceum Partier, Harry Lang: "That was the best party yet! A brilliant venue, top entertainment and as ever the eclectic, irascible, and up for it gaming crowd – fantastic!"
Mery Blomqvist, Head of Marketing & PR for Boss Media, and host of the Boss Media VIP dinner party in the Babylon Lounge: "By far the best Boss Media VIP Party ever from various perspectives including invited VIPs and stakeholders. From a brand-building point of view, the event reflected very well on our company values with regards to excellence in execution. Thanks to Lyceum for producing this tailor-made event and exceeding our expectations - from the smallest details of branded drink menus and superior food experience to the genuine venue."
The Cake Poker team and host of the Cake Poker Chefs: The Fire&Ice party is always the hallmark event of the IGE convention-and this year was certainly no different. Besides being a party to talk about throughout the rest of 2009, it's a great way to build new business relationships, in a more causal environment. We were delighted by the location and the turnout, and are already looking forward to next year's party. We hope that everyone who attended the party got to enjoy their "piece of the Cake" served by our beautiful Cake girls.
