After placing an ante bet, players and the dealer are dealt two cards and a three card "flop" of community cards is laid out face up. Players who wish to continue with the hand must "call" a bet twice as large as the ante, or they may fold and forfeit their ante bet.
Once a call is made, two more community cards are revealed, and the player's hand is compared to the dealer's hand. If the player's hand beats the dealer, the ante bet is paid off based on the hand rank (straight or lower pays 1:1, flush pays 2:1, full house pays 3:1, four-of-a-kind pays 10:1, straight flush pays 20:1 and royal flush pays 100:1), and if the dealer's hand qualifies (a pair of 4s or better), the call bet is paid off at 1:1.
There is also an optional "AA Bet," which pays regardless of whether you win or lose the hand if your hole cards and the first three community cards includes a pair of aces or better. The paytable for the side bet is 7:1 on straights or lower, 20:1 on a flush, 30:1 on a full house, 40:1 on four-of-a-kind, 50:1 on a straight flush, and 100:1 on a royal flush.
