FanDuel unveils sports betting app innovations for March Madness

(PRESS RELEASE) -- FanDuel, Flutter’s largest brand and US market leader in online sports betting, today announced new industry-first product innovations in time for the March college basketball tournament, including an exclusive tournament feature that allows customers to combine picks across multiple rounds into a single parlay and a new Bet Back Token that allows customers to get out of a bet if it is not going to plan.

The Bet Back Token will be available for use on any college basketball game beginning 17 March, and customers can also begin building their tournament parlays once the bracket is set on Sunday, 16 March.

College basketball fans can now stack bracket predictions into a single parlay and finally Bet their Bracket. Only available on FanDuel, customers can enjoy more flexibility and combine multiple tournament bets into one parlay, including teams to reach the round of 16, win their region and cut down the nets. This marks the first time customers can build parlays that include bets from multiple rounds of the tournament, allowing customers to transform their brackets into bets. FanDuel is the only sportsbook offering this way of building a parlay for the men's basketball tournament.

The new Bet Back Token is a first-of-its-kind reward that gives FanDuel customers the option to get their wager back in Bonus Bets if it is not going to plan. The token comes in handy when a leg of a parlay is trending poorly, there is a player injury or if the customer’s team is way down with just minutes remaining. It can be applied right up to the buzzer and the wager amount will be returned immediately in Bonus Bets, up to the maximum refund specified in the customer’s promotion, offering the chance to get back into the action.
