Everest Poker Offers Qualifying Satellite Events

MONTREAL, Quebec – (PRESS RELEASE) -- Everest Poker will offer qualifying satellites to all seven events on the European Poker Tour's Season 3 calendar. Everest Poker's Direct Entry Satellites for each event will take place on the following dates:

Barcelona Open -- August 19, 2006, 14:00 GMT ($300+20 buy-in)

EPT London -- August 26, 2006, 14:00 GMT ($300+20 buy-in)

EPT Baden Classic -- September 9, 2006, 14:00 GMT ($300+20 buy-in)

EPT Dublin -- September 23, 2006, 14:00 GMT ($300+20 buy-in)

Scandinavian Open -- December 16, 2006, 14:00 GMT ($300+20 buy-in)

French Open -- January 20, 2007, 14:00 GMT ($300+20 buy-in)

EPT Grand Final -- February 3, 2007, 14:00 GMT ($200+15 buy-in)

EPT Grand Final -- February 17, 2007, 14:00 GMT ($200+15 buy-in)

EPT Grand Final -- March 3, 2007, 14:00 GMT ($200+15 buy-in)

The prize package for each EPT Direct Entry Satellite will be worth $7,500, which includes the buy-in for the event plus travel expenses and spending money.

Everest Poker will also be running daily satellites that feed into each Direct Entry Tournament. Daily satellites for the first two events on the tour, the Barcelona Open and EPT London, have already started running.

In addition to dedicated satellites for each EPT event, Everest Poker will be offering flexible Winner's Choice Satellites every Wednesday at 20:00 from July 12 through December 13. The winner of each Winner's Choice Satellite will get to select which EPT event they would like to attend.

"This season represents our heaviest involvement in the European Poker Tour so far," said Jonathan May, the Property Manager for Everest Poker. "With dedicated satellites for each event plus the Winner's Choice tournaments, we want to give our players every opportunity to compete in these prestigious live tournaments and hopefully win some money and notoriety!"
