EU to crack down on unregulated online gambling

BRUSSELS -- The European Union (EU) is solidifying its position on online gambling with a proposed crackdown on illegal gambling sites, Bloomberg reported.

An action plan will be drawn up and published to tackle the problem, the report said.

The EU goal is to regulate online gambling activity within member territories, Bloomberg noted.
