Dover Downs to hold Getaway Weekend poker tournament

(PRESS RELEASE) -- Three no-limit Texas Hold'em tournaments, including one with a $40,000-guaranteed prize pool, will be featured during the Dover Downs Hotel & Casino Poker Room's next Getaway Weekend from 25-27 November.

The Getaway Weekend tournament schedule includes:

• Friday, 25 November, 11:15 a.m.: $15,000 guaranteed, $120 buy-in, 25-minute blinds, 20,000 starting stack
• Saturday, 26 November, 11:15 a.m.: $40,000 guaranteed, $250 buy-in, 30-minute blinds, 20,000 starting stack
• Sunday, 27 November, 11:15 a.m.: $3,000 guaranteed, $35 buy-in, 20-minute blinds, 10,000 starting stack

In addition, there will be two satellite events for the Saturday, Nov. 26 $40,000-guaranteed tournament, where one player out of every 10 entries will earn a seat. The satellite schedule is:

• Monday, 21 November, 7:15 p.m.: $35 buy-in
• Thursday, 24 November (Thanksgiving night), 7:15 p.m.: $35 buy-in

Also, all players who are dealt in the first hand of the 21 November and 24 November satellites and 25-27 November tournaments will receive a bonus of 500 in tournament chips. Players that register for the 25-27 November tournaments more than one hour prior to the scheduled start receive a bonus 1,000 in tournament chips with their starting stack.

There will be a limited number of $49-per-night hotel rooms for players who participate in the Friday, 25 November or Saturday, 26 November tournaments.
