Dover Downs to hold $15K guaranteed Texas Hold'em tournament

(PRESS RELEASE) -- Three Texas Hold'em tournaments with combined guaranteed prizes of $24,500, including one with a $15,000-guaranteed prize pool, highlight the 11-13 August Getaway Weekend at Dover Downs Hotel & Casino's Poker Room.

The Getaway Weekend tournament schedule includes:

• Friday, 11 August, 11:15 a.m.: $7,500 guaranteed, $95 buy-in, 25-minute blinds, 30,000 starting stack.
• Saturday, 12 August, 11:15 a.m.: $15,000 guaranteed, $125 buy-in, 30-minute blinds, 30,000 starting stack.
• Sunday, 13 August, 11:15 a.m.: $2,000 guaranteed, $35 buy-in, 15-minute blinds, 30,000 starting stack.

Two satellites are scheduled for the Saturday, 13 August, $15,000-guaranteed tournament. One player out of every 10 entries wins a seat into the tournament. The satellite schedule is:

• Monday, 7 August, 7:15 p.m.: $20 buy-in, 12-minute blinds, 5,000 starting stack.
• Wednesday, 9 August, 7:15 p.m.: $20 buy-in, 12-minute blinds, 5,000 starting stack.

Also, all players who are dealt in the first hand of the August satellites and tournaments will receive a bonus of 500 in tournament chips. Players that register for the August tournaments more than one hour prior to the scheduled start receive a bonus 1,000 in tournament chips with their starting stack.

There will be a limited number of $49-per-night hotel rooms for players who participate in the 12-13 August 11:15 a.m. tournaments.
