Dover Downs online player wins nearly $214,000 on Christmas Day

(PRESS RELEASE) -- In the early hours of Christmas Day, a Dover Down’s player received an unexpected Christmas gift by winning the highest online jackpot to date, $213,969.83.

At home on his phone, the player tried his luck on Santa's Super Slot, a Christmas-themed slot game; he wagered $7.50, clicked the spin button and won the progressive jackpot. The jackpot is awarded randomly, no matching symbols are required. The size of the bet and number of the pay lines determines the chances of winning the jackpot. The online player has been an active player since the initial launch of Delaware’s online casino sites in 2013.

The video lottery game “Santa’s Super Slot” was added to the NEW online casino platforms in May 2018. When the NEW casino platforms were launched, six new jackpot games were added.
