Dover Downs lines up poker tournaments for April

(PRESS RELEASE) -- Six Texas Hold'em tournaments, including one with a $30,000 guaranteed prize pool and the return of the popular Black Chip Bounty event, highlight the 28-30 April Getaway Weekend at Dover Downs Hotel & Casino's Poker Room.

The Getaway Weekend tournament schedule includes:

• Friday, 28 April, 11:15 a.m.: $10,000 guaranteed, Black Chip Bounty, $225 buy-in, $1,000 survivor payout
• Friday, 28 April, 7:15 p.m.: $1,500 guaranteed, $35 buy-in, 20-minute blinds, 30,000 starting stack
• Saturday, 29 April, 11:15 a.m.: $30,000 guaranteed, $225 buy-in, 30-minute blinds, 30,000 starting stack
• Saturday, 29 April, 7:15 p.m.: $1,500 guaranteed, $35 buy-in, 20-minute blinds, 30,000 starting stack
• Sunday, 30 April, 11:15 a.m.: $5,000 guaranteed, $75 buy-in, 20-minute blinds, 30,000 starting stack
• Sunday, 30 April, 7:15 p.m.: $500 guaranteed, $35 buy-in, 15-minute blinds, 30,000 starting stack

There will be two satellite events for the Saturday, April 29, $30,000-guaranteed tournament. One player out of every nine entries will earn a seat into the tournament. The satellite schedule is:

• Monday, 24 April, 7:15 p.m.: $35 buy-in
• Wednesday, 26 April, 7:15 p.m.: $35 buy-in

Also, all players who are dealt in the first hand of the April satellites and tournaments will receive a bonus of 500 in tournament chips. Players that register for the April tournaments more than one hour prior to the scheduled start receive a bonus 1,000 in tournament chips with their starting stack.
