Dover Downs Hotel & Casino's February Getaway Weekend to feature $40,000 in guaranteed prizes

(PRESS RELEASE) -- Six Texas Hold'em tournaments with more than $40,000 in guaranteed prizes, including one with $25,000 guaranteed, highlight the next Getaway Weekend at the Dover Downs Hotel & Casino Poker Room, 10-12 February.

The Getaway Weekend tournament schedule includes:

• Friday, Feb. 10, 11:15 a.m.: $10,000 guaranteed, $115 buy-in, 25-minute blinds, 30,000 starting stack


• Friday, Feb. 10, 7:15 p.m.: $1500 guaranteed, $35 buy-in, 20-minute blinds, 30,000 starting stack


• Saturday, Feb. 11, 11:15 a.m.: $25,000 guaranteed, $200 buy-in, 30-minute blinds, 30,000 starting stack


• Saturday, Feb. 11, 7:15 p.m.: $1,500 guaranteed, $35 buy-in, 15-minute blinds, 30,000 starting stack


• Sunday, Feb. 12, 11:15 a.m.: $2,000 guaranteed, $35 buy-in, 20-minute blinds, 15,000 starting stack


• Sunday, Feb. 12, 7:15 p.m.: $500 guaranteed, $35 buy-in, 15-minute blinds, 30,000 starting stack

There will be two satellite events for the Saturday, 11 February $25,000-guaranteed tournament, where one player out of every 10 entries will earn a seat.

Also, all players who are dealt in the first hand of the February satellites and tournaments will receive a bonus of 500 in tournament chips. Players that register for the February tournaments more than one hour prior to the scheduled start receive a bonus 1,000 in tournament chips with their starting stack.
