Dover Downs Casino Weekend Getaway boasts top prizes

(PRESS RELEASE) -- Three no-limit Texas Hold'em tournaments, including one with a $30,000-guaranteed prize pool, will be featured during the Dover Downs Hotel & Casino Poker Room's next Getaway Weekend from 28-30 October.

The Getaway Weekend tournament schedule includes:

• Friday, 28 October, 11:15 a.m.: $10,000 guaranteed, $135 buy-in, 25-minute blinds
• Saturday, 29 October, 11:15 a.m.: $30,000 guaranteed, $225 buy-in, 30-minute blinds
• Sunday, 30 October, 11:15 a.m.: $3,500 guaranteed, $50 buy-in, 20-minute blinds

In addition, there are two satellite events for the Saturday, Oct. 29 $30,000-guaranteed tournament, where one player out of every 10 entries will earn a seat. The satellite schedule is:

• Monday, 24 October, 7:15 p.m.: $30 buy-in
• Wednesday, 26 October, 7:15 p.m.: $30 buy-in

Also, all players who are dealt in the first hand of the 24 October and 26 October satellites and 28-30 October tournaments will receive a bonus of 500 in tournament chips. Players that register for the 28-30 October tournaments more than one hour prior to the scheduled start receive a bonus 1,000 in tournament chips with their starting stack.
