Dover Downs Casino poker tournaments guarantee $80,000

(PRESS RELEASE) -- Three no-limit Texas Hold'em tournaments, including one with a $50,000-guaranteed prize pool, will be featured during the Dover Downs Hotel & Casino Poker Room's next tournament weekend from 23-25 March.

The tournament schedule includes:

• Friday, 23 March, 11:15 a.m.: $20,000 guaranteed, $225 buy-in, 25-minute blinds.
• Saturday, 24 March, 11:15 a.m.: $50,000 guaranteed, $335 buy-in, 30-minute blinds.
• Sunday, 25 March, 11:15 a.m.: $10,000 guaranteed, $115 buy-in, 25-minute blinds.

In addition, there will be two satellite events for the Saturday, March 24 $50,000-guaranteed tournament, and one satellite event for the Friday, 23 March $20,000-guaranteed tournament, where one player out of every 10 entries will earn a seat into the event. The satellite schedule is:

• Tuesday, 20 March, 7:15 p.m. (for $50,000 event): $43 buy-in, 12-minute blinds.
• Wednesday, 21 March, 7:15 p.m. (for $50,000 event): $43 buy-in, 12-minute blinds.
• Thursday, 22 March, 7:15 p.m. (for $20,000 event): $32 buy-in, 12-minute blinds.

Also, all players who are dealt in the first hand of the 20-22 March satellites and 23-25 March tournaments will receive a bonus of 500 in tournament chips. Players that register for the tournaments more than one hour prior to the scheduled start receive a bonus 1,000 in tournament chips with their starting stack. Tournament participants also receive 12 Capital Club points and $3 in comp for registering in each tournament from 20-22 March.
