Dover Downs announces $30,000 guaranteed poker tournament

(PRESS RELEASE) -- Three no-limit Texas Hold'em tournaments, including one with a $30,000 guaranteed prize pool, will be featured during the Dover Downs Hotel & Casino Poker Room's next tournament weekend from 27-29 April.

The tournament schedule includes:

• Friday, 27 April, 11:15 a.m.: $10,000 guaranteed, $125 buy-in, 25-minute blinds.
• Saturday, 28 April, 11:15 a.m.: $30,000 guaranteed, $225 buy-in, 30-minute blinds.
• Sunday, 29 April, 11:15 a.m.: $5,000 guaranteed, $75 buy-in, 20-minute blinds.

In addition, there will be two satellite events for the Saturday, 28 April $30,000 guaranteed tournament, where one player out of every 10 entries will earn a seat into the event. The satellite schedule is:

• Wednesday, 25 April, 7:15 p.m. (for $30,000 event): $32 buy-in, 12-minute blinds.
• Thursday, 26 April, 7:15 p.m. (for $30,000 event): $32 buy-in, 12-minute blinds.

Also, all players who are dealt in the first hand of the 25-26 April satellites and 27-29 April tournaments will receive a bonus of 500 in tournament chips. Players that register for the tournaments more than one hour prior to the scheduled start receive a bonus 1,000 in tournament chips with their starting stack. Tournament participants also receive 12 Capital Club points and $3 in comp for registering in each tournament from 27-29 April.

There will be a limited number of $49-per-night hotel rooms for players who participate in the 27-29 April tournaments. Tournament registration must be shown to the front desk to get the discounted rate.
