Donaghy pleads guilty in N.B.A. betting case

"During a hearing before Judge Carol B. Amon at the United States District Court in Brooklyn, Mr. Donaghy admitted to betting on games in which he officiated. He said he would communicate his picks of winners of N.B.A. games to gambling associates and was paid for the correct ones. He also said he told associates which referees were scheduled to officiate games, their relationships with certain players and teams, and the health status of players.
"...He was released on $250,000 bond. He turned in his passport and cannot travel outside of New York, Florida or Pennsylvania. He is scheduled to be sentenced on Nov. 9..."
