Do machines in the high-limit room pay back more?
Dear John,
Thoroughly enjoy your informative info on gaming.
My question is: In your estimation, would $5 slots located inside a high-limit room pay off more percentage-wise than those $5 slots located in the public area in the same casino?
Thank you!
Thanks for the kind words about my columns.
I'll never say never, but I don't think there will be any difference in long-term payback between $5 slots in the high-limit room and $5 slots on the main slot floor. Most slot directors order roughly the same long-term payback for all of their machines in a particular denomination, so all of the $5 machines in a casino have about the same long-term payback regardless of location.
Best of luck in and out of the casinos,
John
