DJ Steve Aoki to attend Seminole Hard Rock Poker Showdown

(PRESS RELEASE) -- Critically acclaimed musician and producer Steve Aoki will take part in the Seminole Hard Rock Poker Showdown as a World Poker Tour ambassador, marking his debut entry into WPT poker events under the new partnership announced in December. Attendees of the Seminole Hard Rock Poker Showdown can expect to see Aoki competing in poker tournaments and hosting a full slate of events at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood, Florida, on Sunday, 10 April.

Players and fans are welcome to attend Aoki’s Meet & Greet and autograph session at 3 pm on Sunday, 10 April. Aoki will then handle “Shuffle Up and Deal” duties for the $1,700 Deep Stack Purple Chip Bounty event, in addition to hosting a VIP gathering on property later that evening.

This will be the second opportunity in as many months for fans to meet Aoki through WPT. In February, Aoki held a special event for lucky fans at his Las Vegas-based Aoki Playhouse where a handful of selected winners played a Sit and Go poker tournament with Aoki, Phil Ivey, Maria Ho, and Vince Van Patten. Aoki superfan Chris Osse took down the top prize of a signed custom WPT and Steve Aoki collaborative poker chip set.

Aoki’s presence will amplify an already charged Seminole Hard Rock Poker Showdown tournament schedule, highlighted by the $3,500 WPT Seminole Hard Rock Poker Showdown main event, which runs Friday, 8 April through Tuesday, 12 April.
