"...'Bingo is itself is not gambling. It's like a child's game our senior adults have played bingo for many of time, but they play bingo for the fun of the fellowship. Not to gamble their money away,' said Reverend Jim Kirkland, First Baptist Church.
"But, it's money John Woodbury said Marion County needs whether it's generated through gambling or not.
"...Church groups said that its revenue earned the wrong way. Financially it may be a benefit, but morally, it's a loss.
"...Regardless of the outcome both sides welcome progress it just depends on the stakes..."
